Short Stories : Handbook for dealing with angels

Short Story
Short Stories : Handbook for dealing with angels

Angels cannot fly. Everything is pure fantasy. Just figments. Who ever came up with the strange idea angels could fly? And who came up with the idea? I know it better. I can only laugh at the people who hang small wooden angels with delicate wings on their plastic fir trees on Christmas Eve.
Hang them on a rope.
For these poor ignorant people, someone should write a manual on how to deal with angels.
I was lucky enough to meet an angel recently. He just ran into (please look carefully: ran comes from running and not from flying) in my home library. To be more precise, he stumbles over me when I tried to pull a book out of one of the lowest shelves.
Completely shocked, I was now stretched out on my back on the gray carpet with all fours of myself and I think the sight of me must have been reminiscent of a kicking ladybug. I considered fainting for a split second from the embarrassment I felt. But just as I wanted to close my eyes to avoid the - as I thought - amused looks of all those present, a hand reached out to help me up.
For the first time I looked up.
1. You recognize an angel when, looking into his eyes, you see your own most secret longing dreams reflected.
And already I was trapped. Spellbound by a dazzling smile. A smile that could not be imagined more heavenly, that makes you float as if on a cloud of cotton candy. The owner of that stunning smile was also bright red, but surprisingly, that didn't affect that smile.
2. Angels are only human too.
I took the hand that was still held out to me. I was pulled to my feet with an amazing force that the first impression had completely hidden. That hand was full of life, soft, energetic.
Now we were face to face ......
Have you ever faced an angel? Probably not.
Suddenly everything in me started to tingle. Starting somewhere in the stomach area, it spread in tiny electrical discharges towards the heart and knees.
And when the angel started talking to me, I felt like an electric eel. It wasn't what he said, but only the tone of his voice ........ like ..... little brass bells his voice vibrated.
She apologized to me because it was she who tripped over me. (!!! This confirms once again my claim that angels cannot fly. Would she have stumbled over me otherwise?) And although a few seconds ago I had sworn to speak up to the one who had done this, it was all now like blown away.
As I found out after a few sentences, my angel's name was Kim.
3. When you find your angel, never let him go again.
My finding was a beautiful name, worthy of an angel. Kim ..........................
Just don't let her go. No, don't let her go. Hold her tight. Not without at least finding out her address.
4. Angels do not live in heaven! (as well as you can not fly)
In her eyes, I wanted to have to smile back involuntarily at her infectious smile.
But before I could follow my collected courage and take the first step towards a reunion, she got ahead of me. As I said, your own desires are reflected in the eyes of an angel.
She asked me if she could invite me for tea as compensation for the ladybug campaign (that's what she called it, really!). As a tea fanatic - in this situation I would have been satisfied with coffee, cola, water, beer and everything else - and as an angel lover, of course, I nodded to her suggestion without a second hesitation.
5. Everyone has his angel somewhere, he just has to find him.
In any case, I never let my angel stumble out of my life after that first contact.

A little tip at the end: Many believe angels have the task of fulfilling wishes, but they are wrong. You have to love an angel, take care of it and, if possible, read every wish from its eyes, otherwise small golden wings will actually grow and it will leave you a bit poorer.
