Short Stories : Interview With an Archangel (Chapter 1)

Short Story
Short Stories : Interview With an Archangel (Chapter 1)

Calais
The night cast its shadow on the wall behind him. The events of the past few days had troubled him. Over and over he had wondered how it could get this far. He suddenly realized that he was alone. Alone on this goddamn planet. He should have reported to the editorial team for three days, but after the accident of his wife and daughter, they had strayed from the road on a wet road and had collided head-on with a truck, he had not yet found the strength to return to normal working life to find. Of course, he had also asked himself the question about God, if he existed, why he had caused him such suffering of all things. At that moment he screamed to the sky and begged for an answer that should finally bring him peace again.

He was thirty-four years old now and had a brilliant career. He had already won several journalistic awards that had earned him some fame and prestige. He mainly dealt with reporting from the Middle East and had described the fate of individual persecuted minorities with whom he had found out their suffering in long-lasting discussions. He was over eight meters tall, dark-haired and broad-shouldered. His features were striking, and if you didn't know him, they looked threatening at times. He was a good guy inside of his heart, or thought he was. But now his despair, his loss, and the memory of his own mortality, his own transience ruled him. He thought he heard footsteps behind him, but that was just imagination. Who would have been out here at night, down here in the harbor, where there was a smell of fish and decay on every corner, he'd got lost after wandering aimlessly through Calais for over three hours. He decided to end his belief in God with a prayer, he wanted to give him the last chance to convince him of his existence, to tell him of his being. As he made his way back to the Hotel Richelieu, he prayed the Lord's Prayer with an unprecedented fervor, but also with contempt in his heart for whom he blamed him for his suffering. After he reached the hotel, he made his way to the bar. He just wanted to drown his pain, drown in streams of whiskey to forget, to forget everything. He chose a place between two men, he really didn't feel like female company. He eyed the area with an eagle's eye before pouncing on his prey. When he became aware of this, he humbly lowered his eyes to the group. To his right, he looked into the steel-blue eyes of a mid-thirties, at least he appreciated those who looked at him openly and made him feel like he was revealing himself to share all his grief. He gave him a friendly nod and asked how someone could have coffee at this hour. Oh, his counterpart replied, that was normal for him, since he lived more at night than during the day anyway. Could he ask him his name? Of course, his neighbor answered, his name was Michael, and whether he would also reveal his name. Sure, he replied, his name was Robespierre de Moulin. "Okay, Robespierre, what are you doing? I mean, professionally. "
"I'm a reporter for 'Le Monde' and travel a lot in world history," he replied, "and what are you doing, Michael?" "Oh, I am always where I am needed.
I help people who have suffered a stroke of fate and cry out for God to understand things and to find their inner peace again. Have you suffered a stroke of fate, Robespierre? ”Oh yes, I did, and how, thought Robespierre, but how does his counterpart figure that out? Had anyone heard his cry out there? Michael looked deep into his eyes as if he had guessed his thoughts and said, “I'll make you a suggestion if you want. I allow you an interview that no one has ever had the opportunity to do before. Do you believe in angels, Robespierre? I'm giving you the chance to interview an angel. Not just any angel, but a fallen archangel. Think about it, maybe this interview will help you better understand the things that are going on around you and it will distract you from your grief. If you want, we'll meet in the lobby tomorrow at 7:00 p.m. Oh, and don't forget your recording device! ”He shook his hand, smiled and moved away with an easy step, almost as if he were floating. Robespierre pushed this towards the whiskey, of which he had in the meantime enjoyed more than it was good for him. He lingered for a good hour, then retired to his room to let this outrageous suggestion take effect. What happened here Could it be possible that he would get an answer to his supplication that somewhere in the universe someone had really heard his scream and sent him someone who could take away or at least alleviate his pain? He pondered for a while until he realized that since he had met Michael, the pain had stopped tormenting him. Finally he fell into a restless deep sleep.
He spent the next morning on the phone with his editorial team. He took his lunch outside and decided to spend the afternoon with a long walk in Richelieu Park, which was just behind the hotel like an island in the middle of the sea of houses. Shortly before 7:00 p.m., he entered the lobby of his hotel and saw Michael, who had been waiting for him for a while.

The interview
"Hello," he greeted him, "I don't know a cozy café not far from here, we can have a chat there." Robespierre agreed, and so they set off. After a short walk they reached the café, which bore the auspicious name 'Café du Paix'. How appropriate, thought Robespierre, a place of peace.
After each ordering a cup of coffee, Michael said:
"We will handle it as follows. I will first give you answers to your questions regarding the why and why of life. Perhaps you, Robespierre, would like to briefly describe to me what makes your heart look so melancholy. "
In a nutshell, Robespierre told him of the tragic events that had led to the loss of his child and wife. Then he looked Michael straight in the eye and said: "Can you explain to me why I of all people, why me, why do I have to suffer so unimaginably?" you suffer in this life is the result of your previous lives. "" How, "asked Robespierre," do you really think we have lived before? "" Yes, "replied Michael," I don't just think I know! Let's say you did a lot of bad things in your last life. Then you died. Do you know what happens when you die? Your soul escapes from your body, but this does not necessarily happen at the exact time of your physical death, but your soul can leave your body two weeks before to three months after your death or initiate the process of separation from your earthly shell. This is also the answer to the question why scientists have so far been unable to capture the escape of soul energy from the body with a thermal imaging camera, for example, because they only aimed the camera at humans at the time of death. Had they started two weeks earlier and left the camera running for three months, the event when the soul leaves the body would have been captured.

Now that the soul has left the body, your consciousness ends up exactly where you expected it before you died. This means that if you think you are landing in paradise, your consciousness is coming to you in paradise; if you think you are going to hell, you will end up in hell.
This hell or paradise is only an illusion, but that doesn't mean that you can't be happy or suffering there. After an indefinite period of time, the other souls, your related souls, your parents, friends, people who died before you, come and free you from the illusion. Now you look at your last life and determine how much you will have to suffer in the next life, so that you can experience the suffering that you have inflicted on others, yourself, to understand your path to the light.
Knowledge comes not through happiness, but through suffering. If you are happy, you will recognize nothing. You only start to worry about everything when you suffer. Do you know when you no longer reincarnate? If you could trust two thirds of your life in your intuition and one third would follow your mind. This is because the divine relationship is always one third to two thirds. The universe came into being because God disturbed nothing, in a ratio of one third to two thirds. That means two thirds of matter to one third of antimatter. It is said that the greatest force lies in the smallest part. The chain reactions that followed gave rise to planets, suns and pulsars, which in turn, when they exploded, released chemical elements that make up our earth, for example.

Reincarnation

We come back to what happens after we die. So after you have determined how much you want to suffer in the next life, your soul will be pressed into a body again within a period of 3 days to three years - earth years - because your soul does not want to go back to earth in your new body. Because where she is, she feels very comfortable, she is one with everything and everything is one with her. When you are born again, you cry right after the birth, not because you gasp for breath, but because your soul is really angry that it is here again on earth in a body.
The reason, by the way, for homosexuality has to do with reincarnation! Imagine that you spent your last life as a woman. Your time until rebirth is moderately short, and you will come back as a man. This means that your soul conveys to you the feelings that you had as a woman: you look down on yourself and see that you are a man. Since you act according to your feelings, you love men, because the input you get comes from your life as a woman. You will then deal with this dispute your whole life and you will try to find out the cause. This will make you feel guilty, although there is no reason to do so. You just have a woman's soul information and your body is that of a man.

The guilt thing is a story anyway, in my opinion. In my opinion there is no guilt, nothing mea culpa (my guilt) mea maxima culpa (my great guilt), because guilt would mean to believe that he has no plan up there, because everything is included in the creation plan, good and bad, light and Darkness, hatred and love etc. The moment you say that I am guilty, you do not trust the plan of creation, and not trusting is immediately punished with suffering.
Here on Earth everything is subject to polarization. I will come back to this later. Now let's go back to the loss of your child and your wife. Robespierre, do you sometimes see your wife at night? "
"Yes, Michael, it has appeared to me three times so far. It was so real. "" How did she look, Robespierre? "" Her face was sad, even a little pleading, but I don't know what. "" You see, "replied Michael," she appears to you because she is want to tell you something. As long as you mourn, you do not trust the plan of creation, therefore you suffer immeasurably. If you would trust that where the two were, they would be better off, you would not grieve, but would be happy, because you want the one you love to be well. Through your grief, you hold her in the tunnel that leads her to the other world.
At the end of the tunnel, your wife and child see the comfortably warm light that gives them security, but they cannot go there because you hold them with your grief. If she appears to you in a dream, it is a request, no, a supplication to finally let her go. The moment you let them go, they are free to move to the light and they are finally where they feel comfortable. If you succeed in absolutely letting her go, you will see that your wife only appears to you one more time. And then watch her expression, she'll smile at you. When the time comes, please let me know. We'll break up for today. If you like, we'll meet here at the same time tomorrow. ”“ Okay, ”said Robespierre, and said goodbye with a strong handshake that should express his gratitude. It was as if someone had lifted a heavy load from his shoulders.

He went back to the hotel, ate a lot of dinner, a little reconciled with the world, and went through the conversation again. He had run the tape recorder and would put it on paper afterwards. It was the first night that he slept peacefully without whiskey. The next day flew by and he could enjoy nature and the little things in life again. He went impatiently to the place that had opened his eyes the night before. He wasn't quite clear about letting go of his grief, but he would find the strength. Michael greeted him kindly.
